Shayamanzi story

Hidden in the mountains and shrubby growth of the bushveld, lies Shayamanzi. Right here, stories, incidents and moments between man and animal unfold. In daytime, the plain and shadows beneath the trees are given life by buffalo, sable antelope and wildlife such as kudu, zebra, eland, giraffe and impala. The sounds of lions, leopards, brown hyenas, caracal and jackals give African nights their unique identity.

Around the camp fire and in a sheltered lapa, the incidents and stories of the day are told. The nail-biting moments with a dangerous snake, the buffalo milling around the vehicle, the roar of a lion and the rasping sound of a leopard fill these stories, which are told with wide eyes, gesticulation and shivering voices, leading to nights with nightmarish dreams.

Shayamanzi has a passion for the mysterious leopard. Stories about these beautiful, shy cats of the night are so rare and unique that we decided to eternalize these in songs that people right through the world can listen to, enjoy, sing and relate to their children, friends and leopard lovers. The song "Shayamanzi" is dedicated to all the animals that give us so much pleasure.

Shayamanzi game farm's passion for leopards, inspired them to create a wildlife app and magazine dedicated to all the leopards and to help raise awareness about these majestic animals and decided to call this magazine app Leopard.tv
