Porcupine behaviour

The porcupine shelter by day in burrows or rock crevices and are active by night when they can move up to 16 km away from their burrow. They live in monogamous adult pairs or form larger groups with consecutive young. Porcupines are generally herbivorous and mainly eat bulbs, tubers and roots which they dig up, but they also eat wild fruits that fall to the ground... (Become a subscriber for more)
