QUESTION:

What is a Terminalia prunioides and who eats it?

ANSWER:

This photo was taken early in the evening at Nkwe waterhole. A Lowveld cluster- leaf tree Terminalia prunioides with its striking purple-red seeds grows near the waterhole. This type of tree is a good food plant for browsers and is limited to the northern Bushveld regions of South Africa.
