Large-spotted genet scavenging

26 September 2014

www.leopard.tv

QUESTION:

Is it normal for a genet to eat from a carcass?

ANSWER:

This indicates that the genet has learned opportunistically that food is avaible to scavenge at this locality in spite of preferring to hunt for food as is usual.
