QUESTION:

Why does a leopard groom itself after a meal?

ANSWER:

A leopard grooming itself is typical behaviour, not only for a leopard but for all cats, especially after a meal. The predator must rid itself of all traces of blood to ensure that the scent of the kill is no longer noticeable. This also keeps other more powerful predators from homing in on the scent and evidently forcing the hunter into being the hunted.
